Keeping warm with blankets, soup and smiles!

Hannah from the Granby Toxteth Development Trust (GTDT) has written a blog about what she has been up to meeting with the members who attend the Agnes Woodford monthly lunches at St Bede. Carol Singing 2017

Churches Together Granby have just finished their carol singing along Lodge Lane.

'It was great fun, and great to meet with locals. A big thank you to all at Chaplin's bar and Arundel Park Care Home for the warm welcome and joining in with the singing. We wish you all a very happy Christmas! God bless you.'

Bishop Paul is encouraging everyone to bring one friend to church over advent or Christmas, "as a simple way to help us see a bigger church making a bigger difference."

Diocesan synod have now endorsed the Bishop's call to bring one friend to church. At this time of Advent and Christmas it is a great opportunity to know what we are able to invite our friends to. Bring one friend!


Thy Kingdom Come: Archbishop Justin Welby invites you to take part

The Archbishops of Canterbury and York are inviting churches to pray for the evangelisation of the nation, 2018 (May 10th-20th) in an event they are calling ‘Thy Kingdom Come’.
The Archbishops have written to every serving parish priest expressing their longing ‘to see a great wave of prayer across our land, throughout the Church of England and many other Churches'
