Keeping warm with blankets, soup and smiles!

Hannah from the Granby Toxteth Development Trust (GTDT) has written a blog about what she has been up to meeting with the members who attend the Agnes Woodford monthly lunches at St Bede. She was been able to gift members hand knitted blankets, warm night clothes and coats. To read her blog in full, you can click  here. To find out when the next Agnes Woodford community lunch hosted by Joe, Sue and the rest of the team is on, please see our events calendar.

Carol Singing 2017

Churches Together Granby have just finished their carol singing along Lodge Lane.

'It was great fun, and great to meet with locals. A big thank you to all at Chaplin's bar and Arundel Park Care Home for the warm welcome and joining in with the singing. We wish you all a very happy Christmas! God bless you.'

#bring1friend

Bishop Paul is encouraging everyone to bring one friend to church over advent or Christmas, "as a simple way to help us see a bigger church making a bigger difference."

Can you Bring One Friend to church?

Diocesan synod have now endorsed the Bishop's call to bring one friend to church. At this time of Advent and Christmas it is a great opportunity to know what we are able to invite our friends to. Bring one friend!
